Richard Grand-Jean

Richard Grand-Jean has more than 40 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry. Richard spent 23 years at Salomon Brothers, where he was a General Partner and Managing Director. He was one of the 4 professionals who opened Salomon’s London office and he was the founder of the Corporate Finance Department. His experience at Salomon also included founding and running its International Capital Markets Group in Tokyo and then running the International Capital Markets Group globally.

In 1994, Richard started his own NASDA member firm, Abel’s Hill Capital Corp with offices in New York and Los Angeles. The firm provided strategic advice and capital raising services to companies, largely in the sectors of media, entertainment and technology. Finally from 2008-2013, Richard served as a Managing Director and member of the Executive Committee at Hall Capital Partners,

 

a money management firm which serves as a manager of $30 billion in assets for families, endowments and foundations. Richard’s non-profit Boards have included the Film Society of Lincoln Center, the Museum of the Moving Image, Grace Church School and Poly Prep Country Day School. Richard received an A.B. From Princeton University and a J.D. From the University of Chicago Law School.
